Thursday, December 24, Meredith Drive, 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM
Thursday, December 24, The Bridge, 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM
Anytime on your own/With Small Groups
Looking for something fun and safe to do with your small group for Christmas? Consider an outdoor visit to one of our members who lives alone or is in a care center! Small group leaders will be receiving access to a list of names and addresses, but if you have a group that wants to go caroling that is not an MDRC small group, you can request access to the list by calling the church office or e-mailing Beth Draheim email@example.com. If you plan to go caroling, please call people beforehand to let them know when you will be coming, and then also add your name to the "Visited By" column in the document so that other groups can see who has already had carolers and who might still want a visit.
If you are not connected to a small group and would like to go caroling Chad and Heidi Quist will lead people who would like to gather and carol December 13, 20 and 24th (8:00 PM for the 24th). Meet at 5:00 PM in the gym for 15 or 20 minutes of caroling and Scripture reading, followed by going to homes to carol for those who would like. Let Chad and Heidi know you will be there with the link below.
Time of Remembrance and Hope
Sunday, December 13, 4:00 – 5:00 PM
Meredith Drive Lobby
Like everything in 2020 - this year’s Service of Remembrance and Hope will look a little different! While observing social distancing and wearing masks, The Grief Team along with Pastor Suzanne will be present at the Meredith Drive campus' southwest lobby to pray with all who stop in. This space is open to anyone who is mourning the loss of a loved one this holiday season. For those whose loved one passed away in the last calendar year, a special Christmas tree ornament has been made, or will be made, in her/his honor. If you have had a loved one pass this year, please contact the church office, firstname.lastname@example.org, and let us know their name, when they passed, and their relationship to you. A list will be compiled for the congregation so we can be praying for you as we remember them.
Saturday, December 19, 5:00 PM
Join our Saturday night worship service to kick off the week of Christmas with a different kind of candlelight service. We will read scripture, sing Silent Night, and have the chance to tell Christmas stories and traditions in smaller break out groups with other members of the congregation. Bring your own candle, or pick up a candle at either campus after our online worship service, Sunday December 13 (10:15-11:15 AM at Meredith Drive or 11:15 AM-12:15 PM at The Bridge) or Monday, December 14 & Tuesday, December 15th from 5:00-6:00 PM at both campuses. If you cannot pick a candle up at these times, please call the church office at (515) 276-4901, Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 PM to let us know how many you need, and they will be delivered to you.
If you cannot attend the Candlelight Service, pick up a candle for our Christmas Eve Worship. We will have a candle lighting during our Christmas Eve Worship.
Christmas Day Dinner with your Church Family

Online via Zoom https://zoom.us/j/4369748462
You may not be able to gather with all the people you want this Christmas, but you do not have to eat dinner alone! We invite you to gather virtually with your church family on Christmas Day. Bring your own dinner and join us on Zoom. We will split people into smaller "breakout room" groups and give you a few icebreaker questions so that you can get to know some other people in your church family. If you plan to join us, please RSVP via email to Pastor Sara email@example.com. If you have any questions or need help figuring out Zoom, please don't hesitate to send those questions her way as well.
